🌿 Yamana Omamori x Goshuin

The Yamana Omamori is renowned for its stately and refined character, a quality long favored by Samurai families (Buke). It serves as a symbol of familial prosperity and longevity. The amulet features the auspicious Sayagata pattern, meticulously embroidered with gold thread to showcase the Yamana family crest—the Tung Blossoms and Bamboo Leaves. The color palette, inspired by the natural greens of these motifs, carries a heartfelt blessing for every traveler’s happiness, longevity, and well-being.

The Goshuin is inscribed with the blessing: "Kindness and Longevity to the KNS Traveler." May every day of your journey be embraced by gentle protection.

👶 Yamana Mushikiri Omamori x Goshuin

Japan has an unique cultural tradition centered around children’s well-being. In ancient times, it was believed that a child’s night terrors, constant crying, or emotional distress were caused by "Kan-no-mushi"(irritability) and "Nakimushi"(persistent crying) or spirits dwelling within the body. Families visit shrines to pray for the removal of these disturbances, seeking divine protection for their children’s healthy growth and tranquility.

Since ancient times, Yamana Hachimangu Shrine has been renowned as the "Guardian of Child-rearing" and the "Exorcist of Inner Spirits." A rare and sacred tradition here involves the "Mushikiri-gama" (The Spirit-Cutting Sickle), a symbolic amulet used to sever the negative energies known as "Kan-no-mushi" (irritability) and "Nakimushi" (persistent crying). Such a specialized blessing, dedicated solely to the well-being and tranquility of children, is exceptionally rare across Japan.

According to ancient mythology, Empress Jingū, one of the primary deities of Yamana Hachimangu Shrine, received a pair of Karashishi (guardian lions) as a gift from the kingdom of Goryeo. She bestowed them upon the young Emperor Ōjin, who grew into a vibrant and healthy child under the lions' watchful care. Consequently, the Lion Head has become the sacred symbol of Yamana Hachimangu Shrine. As a result, the "Lion Head" has become the hallmark of Yamana Hachimangu Shrine. This divine beast is revered for its power to bite off restless spirits "Mushikiri-gama" (The Spirit-Cutting Sickle) and sever the ties of misfortune.

The Goshuin is inscribed with the blessing: "KNS Little Traveler: Stay safe, stay healthy. Tears go away, smiles stay all day." Inspired by the Japanese tradition of dispelling restlessness, it wishes for all crying spirits to fade away, replaced by a radiant smile to greet each new day.

🚗 Yamana Traffic Safety Omamori & Goshuin

In ancient times, horses were indispensable companions, not only traveling thousands of miles alongside us but also symbolizing safe passage and smooth journeys. Yamana Hachimangu Shrine enshrines a statue of a Shinme (Sacred Horse) to honor this legacy. This traffic safety omamori features the Shinme set against a traditional Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern, offering a heartfelt prayer for your protection and peace of mind whenever you are on the road.

The Goshuin is inscribed with the blessing: "KNS Traveler, Safe Journeys Across Ten Thousand Miles." It is our heartfelt wish that every departure brings good fortune and peace of mind to all who stay with us.

🕊️ Yamana Peace Prayer Omamori & Goshuin

This omamori features the traditional Shippo (Seven Treasures) pattern, a design representing harmony, fulfillment, and infinite connection. On the front, the characters for "Peace omamori" are artfully arranged within a circular motif. The reverse side is meticulously embroidered with a "dove", the universal symbol of peace, alongside the sacred crest of the Hachimangu Shrine.

The Goshuin is inscribed with the blessing: "KNS Traveler: Peace to your family and laughter in your hearts. May joy dwell in your home and every day be filled with happiness." We wish for joy to dwell in your life and for every day to be overflowing with happiness.

Every journey deserves to be cherished and protected. We extend our deepest gratitude to Yamana Hachimangu Shrine for inscribing these sacred blessings.

May the New Year bring a fresh beginning, graced with peace and divine protection.
